Machu Picchu is one of the most beautiful places on Earth. We all want to visit the site and we all want to experience it under the best conditions possible. We recommend the following for an incredible experience.
Try to visit the ruins as early as possible. Try to spend the night before in Aguas Calientes, that way you can rise early and take one of the first buses up to Machu Picchu. You will get to experience the site with minimal traveler congestion.
Want to get the best weather? consider travelling between May and October, these are dry months where you will get the best views of the ruins. Don’t get me wrong there are sunny days outside the dry season but they are few and far between.
