Tour begins and ends in Uyuni
This is a shared 4x4 tour with up to 6 passengers per vehicle.
Accommodation is provided in basic shelters featuring shared rooms (6 people per room) and shared bathrooms. Shelters do not include heating or hot water by default. Hot showers are available for an additional local fee
The Uyuni Weekend Tour has no fixed departure dates—you can choose your preferred start date.
Passport name, number, expiry and country is required at time of booking for all participants
If you are a senior or traveling with small children please ask us about our private tours.
During the rainy season, Isla Incahuasi is not visited because the salt flats are flooded and access is unsafe.

Uyuni Weekend - 3 Day Tour Itinerary

Day 1Uyuni – Salar de Uyuni

The tour begins with pickup from Uyuni airport or bus station. Our first stop is the Train Cemetery, a historic site filled with old steam locomotives once used for transporting minerals—perfect for unique photos.

Next, we visit the village of Colchani, where you can observe traditional salt processing (drying, grinding, and packaging) and have the opportunity to purchase handmade salt crafts. We will also visit the Salt Hotel (Salt Museum), an impressive building made entirely from salt blocks.

Enjoy lunch in the middle of the Salar, surrounded by the dazzling white expanse stretching as far as the eye can see.

The tour continues to Incahuasi Island, a rocky oasis in the heart of the Salt Flats, home to giant cacti, some over 100 years old. From the top of the island, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the entire Salar de Uyuni.

Overnight in Uyuni and transfer to your hotel. Dinner included.

Day 2Minor Lagoons – Stone Tree

Today we visit the Minor Lagoons: Laguna Cañapa, Laguna Hedionda, Laguna Chiarkhota, and Laguna Honda, where you can enjoy the spectacular Andean landscapes and observe local wildlife.

Next, we stop at the Stone Tree, a stunning wind-eroded rock formation shaped like a giant mushroom among volcanic rocks.

Lunch en route. Overnight stay at Hotel Flamencos, surrounded by the majestic Altiplano scenery.

Day 3Laguna Colorada – Geysers – Laguna Verde – Return

After breakfast, we visit Laguna Colorada, famous for its red waters caused by algae and plankton that change color with temperature.

Continue to the Sol de Mañana Geysers, where bubbling mud displays vibrant colors and steam columns rise up to 50 meters high, an incredible natural spectacle.
