Tiwanaku Tour - Itinerary

Your journey begins with a convenient hotel pickup in La Paz, where you’ll meet your professional guide and begin your adventure toward one of the most important archaeological sites in South America.

You’ll travel by private vehicle across the Andean plateau toward Tiwanaku, located approximately 72 km west of La Paz, near the southern shores of Lake Titicaca. Along the way, enjoy views of the high-altitude landscapes and glimpse local life in the Bolivian altiplano.

Upon arrival in Tiwanaku, you’ll explore this fascinating archaeological complex, once the ceremonial and political center of one of the oldest civilizations in the Americas (dating back to around 1500 BC).
