Your day begins with pickup from your hotel in San Pedro de Atacama, setting the stage for a journey through the stunning landscapes of the Atacama Desert.
Our first stop is the charming village of Toconao, known for its traditional architecture built with liparite stone. Stroll through its peaceful streets, visit the historic San Lucas Church—built in 1744 and declared a National Monument—and meet local artisans who craft fine woolen textiles using ancestral techniques.

We then head toward the vast expanse of the Atacama Salt Flats, Chile’s largest salt flat and part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Here, you’ll explore Laguna Chaxa, a magical wetland divided into shimmering lagoons surrounded by crusted salt beds. This area is home to three species of flamingos—Chilean, Andean, and James—offering a spectacular birdwatching experience set against a surreal desert backdrop.
Our adventure continues with a visit to the Andean town of Socaire, perched at 3,500 meters above sea level. This tranquil village is famed for its pre-Hispanic agricultural terraces and serves as a beautiful spot to enjoy a delicious lunch while soaking in views of the surrounding volcanoes and valleys.

The final leg of our journey takes us even higher to the breathtaking Altiplanic Lagoons of Miscanti and Miñiques, located at an altitude of over 4,200 meters. These high-altitude lakes are framed by snow-capped volcanoes and offer awe-inspiring vistas. As you take in the deep blue waters and the stark contrast of the surrounding Andean landscape, you’ll gain a true appreciation for the unique beauty and serenity of the Chilean Altiplano.
After a day of exploration, culture, and nature, we return to San Pedro de Atacama in the late afternoon—leaving you with unforgettable memories and a deeper connection to the magical landscapes of northern Chile.
