Discover the center of Inca cosmology with our Sacred Valley Tour! Get ready to explore some of the most sacred sites at the heart of the Inca Empire, beginning with a drive out of Cusco and into the stunning Sacred Valley.
Starting at around 8:45 AM, you will be picked up and driven to lookout points that offer breathtaking views of the surrounding valley, perfect for capturing unforgettable photos. Our first stop is the charming colonial town of Pisac, which is also home to extensive Inca ruins and elaborate terracing, believed to have been used for agricultural experiments. On Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, you’ll also have the chance to explore the lively market and barter for souvenirs and local goods.
Next, we head to Urubamba where we will enjoy a delicious lunch buffet surrounded by the picturesque scenery of the valley. You’ll have plenty of options to choose from, including local and international cuisine. After lunch, we’ll visit the impressive fortress and small Inca town of Ollantaytambo, the only place where the Incas successfully repelled Spanish attacks. The ancient Inca streets and buildings make it a charming relic to times long past and the fortress ruins are an incredible sight to see.
Our last stop is the small market town of Chinchero, where you can purchase souvenirs and visit more ruins before we make our way back to Cusco. You will arrive back in Cusco at approximately 6:00 PM, with the drop-off point at the Main Plaza de Armas.
This tour offers a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating history of the Inca Empire and explore the picturesque Sacred Valley, all while enjoying delicious local cuisine and capturing unforgettable photos. Book your tour now and discover the magic of the Sacred Valley!
Please Note The Sacred Valley + Option includes smaller tour groups and instead of the included buffett, the tour would include lunch at Tunupa Restaurant.
The Sacred Valley Tour was a highlight of my trip to Peru. The architecture, the stories, and the culture were all amazing. Our guide was great. The buffet lunch in Urubamba was great and not expected. Big thanks to Julio and the Karikuy Team.
Il nostro tour della Valle Sacra è stato indimenticabile. Le rovine di Ollantaytambo erano affascinanti e la nostra guida, Sofia, era molto preparata. Il pranzo a Urubamba era delizioso.
This was a journey through time. Pisac’s terracing, Ollantaytambo’s charm, and Chinchero’s market vibes were all highlights. Our guide was brilliant, making the history come alive. Thanks to Karikuy for the great tour.
Danke, Karikuy Tours
