Arrival at Pantanos de Villa Nature Reserve
Upon arrival, your professional guide will give you a brief introduction to this incredible ecological reserve, its connection to the Rímac River, and its significance as a natural sanctuary within Lima.

Nature Trek & Birdwatching Experience
We’ll begin a guided walk along the wetland trails, surrounded by native vegetation like reeds and cattails. You’ll have the opportunity to observe over 170 species of birds, including herons, ducks, grebes, plovers, coots, and many more—both native and migratory.
You’ll also learn about the local biodiversity, including fish, aquatic insects, and—if you’re lucky—even reptiles.

Walk Toward the Coastal Lagoon and Pacific Beach
Next, we’ll continue toward a more open area with a coastal lagoon connected to the Pacific Ocean. Here you can relax, take photos, and enjoy the stunning landscape while listening to the waves and spotting seabirds flying overhead. It’s the perfect way to connect with nature and end the experience with a memorable view.

Optional Boat Ride (Add-on)
If you’d like, you can opt for a boat ride on the lagoon ($15 USD per person), available during the visit. This offers a unique perspective for enjoying the local wildlife from the water.

Return to Hotel
Finally, you’ll be comfortably transferred back to your hotel, taking with you unforgettable memories of Lima’s hidden natural treasures.
