Your journey begins with a pickup from your hotel in Huaraz around 9:00 AM. Accompanied by a professional guide, you’ll embark on a half-day tour that immerses you in the cultural heart of this charming Andean city.
We will first explore the main streets and traditional neighborhoods of Huaraz, such as Belén, Soledad, Centenario, San Francisco, and Huarupampa. These areas offer a glimpse into the daily life of locals and reflect the rich cultural traditions of the region.

Next, we visit the Ancash Regional Museum, home to the largest collection of lithic artifacts in the Americas. This museum showcases the most complete exhibition of monoliths and pre-Inca relics in Peru, making it a must-see for archaeology and history lovers.
We continue to the Señor de la Soledad Church, a significant religious and cultural landmark in Huaraz. Not far from here lies the Jose Olaya Street, a picturesque, cobbled lane that retains the original charm of Huaraz before the 1970 earthquake.
Afterward, we head towards the outskirts of the city to visit the Wilcahuain Archaeological Complex, a site belonging to the Wari culture. Here you’ll explore two fascinating ruins: Hatun Wilcahuain and Ichic Wilcahuain, ancient ceremonial and funerary structures with preserved stone architecture and mysterious underground chambers.
To finish the experience on a relaxing note, we’ll visit the Monterrey Hot Springs, where you can optionally dip your feet or simply enjoy the soothing views of the warm waters and surrounding nature.
At the end of the tour, we’ll return to Huaraz and drop you off at your hotel, arriving around 14:00 – 14:30.
