At this time there are no Peru travel restrictions pertaining to COVID -19. Peru has ended their state of Emergency. Masking is optional indoors and outdoors. No proof of vaccinations or testing are required to enter the country.

Peruvian regulations require that minors present in Peru for more than 180 days must have a notarized travel letter to depart the country if they are not traveling with the parent(s) listed on the birth certificate. Travel with one parent when two are listed on the birth certificate requires the notarized consent of the non-traveling parent. This notarized letter must be presented to immigration officials prior to boarding a flight.

Yes, Travelers from the USA do not require a travel Visa to enter Peru and there are no Peru travel restrictions to enter from the USA.
There are currently no Covid-19 Travel Restrictions to Peru. The last update of the Travel Restrictions was on December 3rd, 2022.
Yes it’s safe to travel to Peru. As with any third world country travelers must be aware of their surroundings and avoid known dangerous areas in Peru. As for Peru travel restrictions COVID-19, our levels of the virus are the same in most other areas of the world. Travelers have the option to mask and follow the Peru travel requirements Covid above.

This would depend on your home country and you should check with your international airline as some carriers may recommend Yellow Fever Vaccinations. However in General it is not mandatory, and only recommended if you are visiting Jungle areas where Yellow fever has been reported.
There are no indications that Peru will close the borders again due to COVID unless there is a new dangerous strain or outbreak.
