The Route of Neruda Itinerary
We will begin our tour "The Neruda Route" from your Hotel at 08:00. am, bound for Isla Negra, where we will have the reservation scheduled at 10:10 am.
Because of the evocative power of the objects he keeps and because of his environment dominated by the presence of the sea, the house of Isla Negra is a kind of visual and material compendium of Neruda's poetic imaginary.
The place was originally called Las Gaviotas. The poet renamed him Isla Negra because of the color of his rocks and perhaps because he could isolate himself there to write. When he returned from Europe to Chile, in 1937, he was looking for a place to dedicate himself to his General Song, a great book on American history and nature. The wild coast of Isla Negra, with the tumultuous oceanic movement, allowed me to give myself with passion to the company of my new song? - he wrote in his memoirs.
Already acclimated with Neruda, our winner of the Nobel Prize for Literature, we will leave for the museum house La Sebastiana in Valparaiso.
After this unique museum, we will have lunch in Viña del Mar (lunch not included), and then visit the most emblematic points of the area.
After the visit in the area, we will return to Santiago, where we will visit this last museum around 4:30 p.m. 5:00 pm then go to your hotel.
The tour includes the tickets
Not available on Mondays, since museums in Chile are closed.
